HELP KEEP SHORT TERM RENTALS LEGAL IN 2020
Short Term Rentals (STRs) are utilized by families with children and dogs that visit our lovely community to enjoy our beaches, weather and attractions. These visitors support our restaurants, shops and harbor activities, which therefore increase employment opportunities and Dana Point City tax revenues.
Many of our Short Term Rental families visit local friends and family members. Help us support a reasonable ordinance that allows for STRs that are monitored, so that they continue to be an asset to our community.
This year 2020 there will be City Council elections in Dana Point for Districts 3 and 5. With your help we can elect council members that support Short Term Rentals. Please stay tuned as the election cycle heats up. We will have the latest on every candidate’s stand on these issues and what each of us can do to help our cause.
Contact Your City Council Members
And let them know you want a fair and reasonable ordinance! We have seen this City Council pass a ban and then rescind it after they heard your voices loud and clear, so please continue to reach out.
